Print Mixing

This past weekend I was asked by a couple of people "Is it okay to wear more than one print? And if so, how?" Well here it is... YES you can were mutliple prints! There are a few different ways.

1) Chose only two colors when pairing two large prints. Seen above on Rhianna & SJP as Carrie

2) A pin stripe is considered a "solid" as long as the stripe is faint. So you can wear Pin Stripes with anything! This rule also includes plaid.

3) If you chose to mix large prints with lots of color one piece must be a small print while the other piece has a larger print or one piece has nuetral colors while the other has bold colors

Do you like your denim bleached?

This Fad is popping up everywhere I first saw it popularized by R&B princess Rhianna. This style brings an immediate funky edge to your look!

However, I won't be wearing this look it's not my personal style and do you remember the extreme faded denim with whiskers from 99-2000? I know you do and I just can't have any of those photos floating around of myself in a few years when this FAD is no longer acceptable.

Key word in this blog ... FAD

*Sidenote those extreme faded jeans with whiskers were the highlight of the late 90's early 00's along with the tramp stamp! lololol ...where are those styles now?!?!
