Week 1

It's season 6 of Project Runway (now airing on Lifetime on Thursdays). Last week Ra'mon went home. And I must say he was one of my Favs! Here are snapshots of all his pieces.

Print Mixing

This past weekend I was asked by a couple of people "Is it okay to wear more than one print? And if so, how?" Well here it is... YES you can were mutliple prints! There are a few different ways.

1) Chose only two colors when pairing two large prints. Seen above on Rhianna & SJP as Carrie

2) A pin stripe is considered a "solid" as long as the stripe is faint. So you can wear Pin Stripes with anything! This rule also includes plaid.

3) If you chose to mix large prints with lots of color one piece must be a small print while the other piece has a larger print or one piece has nuetral colors while the other has bold colors

Do you like your denim bleached?

This Fad is popping up everywhere I first saw it popularized by R&B princess Rhianna. This style brings an immediate funky edge to your look!

However, I won't be wearing this look it's not my personal style and do you remember the extreme faded denim with whiskers from 99-2000? I know you do and I just can't have any of those photos floating around of myself in a few years when this FAD is no longer acceptable.

*Sidenote those extreme faded jeans with whiskers were the highlight of the late 90's early 00's along with the tramp stamp! lololol ...where are those styles now?!?!

Biker Jacket's are all over the place this fall from the Runway to Miley Cyrus Max Azria Wal-Mart's line ($20) saw it in the store last night! I already have mine and can't wait for the first chill to come thru the A so I can whip it out!

EPIC FAIL!!!!

No matter how hard you try, no matter who you are (Rosie O'Donnell) These are UNACCEPTABLE!!!! I don't care if they are "comfortable", haven't you heard of Dr. Scholls?!?! I know this is something I don't have to say to most of you but I just read a photo comment saying "Don't hate on the Crocs she was bartending ALL night" .... So what, we don't care, try again! EPIC FAIL No matter how good your "excuse" is! The only people I may let this slide on is toddlers and the elderly (you have to respect your elders). However, I will want to speak to these parents! Did they stop making Buster Browns?!?!

Moral of the story there will NEVER be a good enough reason for Crocs to become acceptable! And don't take yours to Goodwill the less fortunate or thrifty don't want your bad choice!!

It's an Obsession

An exciting night to some maybe going out on the town taking advantage of the night life...Mine?!?! Watching What Not to Wear while Organizing my Closet! Closet Organization is pure bliss for me! I get so hype seeing spreads of celebrity closets causing my own closet day dreams...I will catch up with you Mariah it might not be on your NYC cribs level but I will catch up with you in my own right!

With all this excitement bundled up inside anticipating 5/28/10 I wanted to reflect on the fashions from the 1st SATC Movie! No matter how many times I see them they NEVER get old, I'm inspired! Pat Fields is Magic!

SATC Who is ready?!?!?!

May 28, 2010 may just have to be a personal holiday for me! I will be going ALL out for the SATC Movie Sequel! I am beyond stoked and with every pic from movie filming my excitement heightens! The story lines, the clothes, the accessories! Werrkkk it Ladies! We Love You Pat!

Thigh High Boots, They're Not for Everybody!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE a fabulous boot they are in the top 5 best things about the fall/winter season but sadly up to your crotch boots are not for everyone! How I wish I wore the legs these boots would look fabulous on! In order for some to rock this look you must pull out your Suzanne Summers thigh master! Or else you may have thigh spillage on top of your boots a muffin top of the thigh if you will!
However, if you currently have mile long thin legs (big calf girls hate, Ha!) Werrk em! This boot can take a basic denim and tee look to edgy, trendy and beyond!
